RedTail's managed EDI services solution handles all communications between manufacturers and distributors using AccountMate 7.6 and their trading partners (like Wal-Mart and The Home Depot). Once the items are shipped, information is passed to RedTail EDI to generate and transmit the EDI invoice to the trading partner. The Figtree integration can be added to all AccountMate SQL and Express 7.5 versions. No AccountMate source code is required and the interface is provided as part of the RedTail EDI service at no additional charge.
The EDI integration also automates preparation of the Advanced Shipping Notice for companies using ACCU-DART software modules and Hand Held Radio Frequency Terminals to transmit shipping information in real time from the warehouse to the accounting system. With the RTTM, package level detail information is gathered from the AccountMate and ACCU-DART files and passed to RTTM where it is merged with the EDI purchase orders and used to generate Advanced Shipping Notices.
