PETALUMA, CA (October 3, 2010)-It was announced today at AccountMate Software’s annual business conference, that a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform is now available to AccountMate clients. David Render, AccountMate’s COO, told the audience that, "Based on the increasing demand and popularity of this type of remote-access hosted model, we are now ready to provide our own unique ‘Best of All Worlds’ SaaS offering."

Unique to the AccountMate service is the ability for customers to have custom modifications made to their software on the AccountMate SaaS remote server. Render said, "This allows our software users to install the modifications they need for their individual business requirements." Approved third-party Vertical Solution Software can also be installed on the hosted server. In addition to the standard accounting modules, AccountMate offers a complete CRM product, a Business Intelligence package and a Business Alerts module. To create a completely integrated business solution, Microsoft Exchange Email and Office are available on the same remote server. The client can get all of the AccountMatesupplied offering for a predefined monthly subscription fee.

This SaaS computing is a viable option for those who decide that a remote access strategy is more practical for them than having an on-premise Business Financial System suite, and who do not necessarily feel the need to ‘own’ the software license.

With this cloud offering, everyone continues to get the same AccountMate intuitive user interface. The big difference between the on-premise solutions and the cloud offerings is that clients’ financial systems are housed from the same remote secure environment and can be accessed immediately 24 hours every day.
